We as a group of American University of Iraq-Sulaimani students, felt the immediate necessity of opening a blog where our fellow students can open up and express what they feel, think and believe. This will be the first truly free space where everyone in the AUI-S community can write without censoring.
The voice of AUI-S students is not heard by anyone inside and outside the university. The students are the last who know about the decisions made and the last to have a say on them. We want to put an end to this.
The blog will allow AUI-S students to post their thoughts, articles, concerns, and critics without any censor.
The blog is administrated by a group of students from different departments and levels, and it will remain so. so this is from students and for students.
